The French Sunday Family dinner

Chef Christophe grew up with this national tradition, the Sunday family dinner. Every Sunday, French families gather around the table to savor a home cooked meal made with the freshest ingredients, usually from the farmers’ market, the local butcher, fishmonger and “fromager” (cheese shop) and sometimes the pastry-shop, although most often the host/hostess is proud to make their own dessert.

The meal is always accompanied by a good bottle of wine and  Bastille's wine list can fit that need.  We have many classic wines to choose from to accompany your Sunday dinner.

Boeuf en daube et gnocchi:
Braised all-natural beef in a rich red wine and olive sauce ,
served with house made potato gnocchi

Black truffle and mushroom risotto, winter greens
